Learning how to mute other players in Destruction AllStars online mode can be very useful. After all, sometimes you want to play it cool or someone speaks into the microphone completely unnecessarily.
Inexplicably, there is no in-game configuration for this. That means you’ll have to learn how the PlayStation 5 chat system works, at least until an update arrives.
Mute other players in Destruction AllStars
If you are playing a match in a multiplayer match and you wait in the lobby before the match begins, you will enter into a group chat with all other players as indicated by the on-screen notification in the corner.
To switch other players in Destruction AllStars, press the PlayStation button and open the system overlay. Here is a list of activity cards. One is for the group chat that has just started. Press the square button. This will silence that group so you won’t hear any players.
Annoyingly, this has to be done every time you start a game. There is no permanent feature in the entire system that allows you to mute players by default. We hope this will be fixed in a future update.
Destruction AllStars is a global sporting event where cars and stars collide. Be one of 16 AllStars and drive to the sound of the crowd and destroy everything upwards. Can you overcome the mess
Enter the arena alone or with your team and use the vehicle of your choice. There are a variety of vehicles with unique speeds and characteristics. While you might have a favorite, only a true AllStar can dominate everyone!
You can react to the game in real time while driving. Hitting the opponent’s cars does a lot of damage, but a well-planned impact can crush your opponent. Master the beats to destroy, escape and reach the end of the competition.
Destruction AllStars is available for Playstation 5.
