A new update to Black Ops Cold War is now available for download and makes airborne shooting, better known as “jump-shotting”, even better.

On Saturday, Treyarch released a new update to address some of the bugs introduced in Call of Duty. Most of the fixes in the February 6th patch relate to the new Firebase Z Zombies map, but there is one big change in multiplayer.

The update of Black Ops Cold War touches upon the famous “jump-shotting”.

Treyarch reduced the penalties for speed and jump height when landing after a jump, which made jumping and shooting a little easier. This change was apparently made in response to feedback about a minor bug in jump-shotting that was done last week, which Treyarch did not report.

In Zombies, Treyarch made some bug fixes in Firebase Z, mostly with using Jump Pads, Essence Traps, Tombstone Soda, and playing Attack Rounds, virtually all of the new elements of Firebase Z.

Read the following update notes:

Black Ops Cold War Multiplayer

Slightly reduced penalties for speed and jump height when landing a jump. Fixed a rare bug in Gunfight mode. Fixed an issue where shooting a helicopter from the Care Pack with a launcher would not destroy it

Black Ops Cold War Zombies

Fixed some bugs related to Jump Pads, Attack Rounds, Essence Traps, Tombstone Soda, Hellhounds and Mimic in “Firebase Z”. Fixed an issue where Orda would not fire its secondary attacks properly. Fixed issue with medals with incorrect information. Fixed description time and evaluation limit for different modes.

Call of Duty: The Black Ops Cold War was released on November 13th for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and PC.
